DiscoveryLand

You can forget the stereotypical Sunday school class here at New Covenant. Instead, we have DiscoveryLand to help children discover and know God and understand how much He loves each of them as individuals and for their uniqueness. The purpose of DiscoveryLand is to introduce this in a kid-centered way that will build a strong foundation for their faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We have puppets every week, worship and often incorporate art, drama, games and crafts along with Biblical lessons to create a special environment that will touch the hearts of our children.

DiscoveryLand meets Sunday mornings during the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services in the lower level of New Covenant Community Church. Classes are divided into age-appropriate categories, with age-appropriate activities.

Nursery
Nursery care is available for young children from birth to age 1. Parents are given a pager so that they may enjoy our adult services and classes but still be notified immediately if their child needs them.

Preschool
Our preschool area is specifically targeted for children ages 2 to kindergarten. It is structured to introduce children to the Bible and stimulate their young creative minds with dramas, praise sing songs, crafts,worship time and learning through weekly puppet shows that reinforce the Bible lesson for the day.

Grade School
Children in first through fifth grade are divided into classrooms based on their current grade level that further Biblical knowledge and growth as the children become older and more mature. Each class has age-appropriate learning, games and crafts that creatively reinforce their Bible lesson for the day. These classes help prepare our childen to be fully devoted followers of Christ.

We love kids of all ages and look forward to having your children join us in DiscoveryLand, where they can discover just how special they are to God and how to live out a personal relationship with Him.

Event Child Care

Throughout the year, New Covenant provides child care during other ministry events and some special events. Some ministries that use child care services are Tapestry-Women's Ministry and Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS). For more information on child care provided during these ministry events or other special events, contact the church office.

Other Children's Programs

In addition to DiscoveryLand, New Covenant also participates in and hosts a variety of other kid-oriented events, such as CREW, Vacation Bible School, and much more!
