Small Groups

Living in Community

The best place for you to connect with others at New Covenant is Small Groups. It is in a Small Group that you can begin to live out the five Biblical values that will help you transform into the likeness of Christ. The five values are:

Community - Living life in relationship with others where encouragement, spiritual growth and accountability come from an intense and intimate interchange of thoughts and ideas.

Transformation - Grow in spiritual maturity and in turn help others grow spiritually with the goal of all of us becoming more Christ-like.

Worship - Enlarge/magnify the name of Christ.

Serve - Connecting your gifts and passions with a ministry to serve others.

Mission - Reach out to others internally, locally and globally to share the truth of Jesus Christ.

All of us have a longing to understand and grow in our faith. We all desire a group of friends who will share their lives openly and honestly. In the book of Acts, we see individuals who joined together for a cause that was greater than themselves, yet by serving others they found their needs being met as well. A Small Group gives you the environment and opportunity to influence the world around you.

In this casual atmosphere, you'll talk about what's going on in your lives. You'll relate critical life issues to the Bible. You'll learn more about New Cov and how you can make a difference in what God is doing. Small Groups take what you hear on Sundays and help you move what you're learning to how you live the rest of the week.

Not ready to commit to a Small Group? A great way to get started in community here at New Cov is to attend a Connections Class on Sunday mornings during the 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. hours. In these groups, God's word is explored by gifted teachers and applications to our lives identified. A great way to get better acquainted with others and God's word all at the same time.

Browse Our Small Groups

There are a few ways to find a small group to plug into at New Covenant.

Some of our ministries (Men, Women, Twenty Somethings, etc.) operate within or help people connect into small groups. Visit the ministries page to get a list of such ministries.

Another option is to use GroupFinder, a tool designed just for you to browse our groups when it's convenient for you. If you fill out the profile, it will also direct you to the groups that best fit you. You can get the password in most of our small groups brochures or just use the e-mail link below to get it.

Enter the password ncgroups and click the button to access the GroupFinder

Another way to find a group is to fill out a communication card during a weekend service. Or for the full service option, call the church office (402) 484-5033. We'll be more than happy to help you find a small group for you.
