What To Expect
Experience God through WorshipOur Sunday morning services are casual and designed to help you connect with God. Whether you consider yourself a spiritual seeker or a seasoned Christian, we believe you will hear from and experience God through our weekend services.
A worship band (drums, keyboards, guitars, sax, bass, etc) leads our worship each Sunday. The music they play has a contemporary sound and feel and will help you turn your focus toward God.
The services also include drama, humor, multi-media, and other art forms to help us discover more about who God is and how very much he longs to have a relationship with each of us.
New Covenant is a church for the whole family.
For Children: We provide quality child care for infants and toddlers during all of our Sunday services. Children ages three through fifth grade enjoy DiscoveryLand classes during the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services. These classes give children a hands-on opportunity to discover who God is.
In addition to DiscoveryLand, New Covenant also hosts CREW on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year. This unique program gives kids an opportunity to develop their character and their talents in a fun, Christian-oriented environment. We also host a wacky and wild week every summer for kids in our church and our community. For more information on these fun children's programs, please visit the Children section of our web site.
For Youth: Middle School and High School students love New Covenant! On Sunday mornings, the Middle School Students (6th-8th graders) meet at 9:30 a.m. and High School students (9th-12th graders) meet at 11:00 a.m. in the Flipside Auditorium.
On Wednesday evenings we have Explosion for all middle school students at 6:30 p.m. This is a time of activities and then you break up into small groups. High school students also meet Wednesday nights at 8:00 for small group studies. For more information on youth activities, visit the Youth section of our web site.
College Students: New Covenant supports the Christian Challenge ministry on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. This ministry meets weekly and has many opportunities and events for college students to connect with their peers in a Christian-oriented environment. For more information on Christian Challenge, visit their web site at:www.unl.christianchallenge.net.
Adults: New Cov offers Small Groups, Connections classes and periodic training opportunities for adults. We also have men's and women's ministries.
