Global Impact

Our Vision and Purpose

Our vision is a natural extension of New Covenant's purpose statement: Transforming our world through Jesus by, connecting, developing, and mobilizing.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28:19, 20

We want to reach the horizons with the good news of Christ.

Our vision -- to encourage New Covenant to actively participate in efforts to see "all peoples" come to know Jesus Christ as their
personal Savior and to learn to follow Him.
(Note: "all peoples" would mean those from any ethnic people group; those who share a common language and culture)

Where We Go

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth".
Acts 1: 8

Our Jerusalem -- Lincoln and Lancaster County

Our Judea -- Nebraska and Kansas

Our Samaria -- United States outside of Kansas/Nebraska

Our "ends of the earth" -- International

What We Do

  • We give financial support to ministries and individuals.
  • We pray for ministries and missionaries.
  • We send people out from New Covenant.
  • We adopt people groups and Strategy Coordinators (who are targeting particular people groups or cities).
  • We educate though events such as missions emphasis, missions banquets, mission fairs, mission conferences.
  • We want to expose New Covenant to missions through short-term mission trips.

Our Strategy

We would like to eventually have enough momentum to have at least one person in each small group that would become a "champion" for global impact. They would have been overseas on a short-term trip themselves and would lead others in their group to participate as God leads them.

Who Is Involved?

We would like everyone to eventually be involved in some way!

We have a missions/global impact team that is taking leadership. If you are interested in being on the missions team or would like to attend a meeting contact the office.
